Job summary

McClure Engineering Co LLC is seeking a Professional Land Surveyor to join our team in a fast-paced environment. You will work with crew chiefs to produce survey deliverables, develop project plans, and supervise field and CAD work using Trimble, Civil 3D, or MicroStation.

The ideal candidate holds a Professional Land Surveyor license with 5–8 years of experience and can manage multiple priorities while maintaining high-quality results and client relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in surveying, civil engineering, or related field.
• 5–8 years of professional surveying experience.
• Professional Land Surveyor license; ability to obtain licenses for surrounding states.
• Experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD Civil3D, or Trimble Business Center.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise surveys, calculations, and data documentation.
• Lead field crew and CAD drafting work to meet schedule.
• Develop project survey plans and office procedures.
• Review and verify survey drawings and deliverables.
• Maintain client relationships and coordinate with internal/external teams.
• Train new survey crew members.
• Perform topographic, boundary, ALTA/ACSM surveys.
