Control Point Associates in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead surveying projects across field and office settings. You will oversee staff, budgets, and client communications to ensure timely, accurate deliverables.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of survey experience, a track record in business development and leadership, and proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. Bachelor's degree preferred; licensed LS is a plus.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of survey experience.
• Licensed Land Surveyor preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of business development and leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy and listening skills; responsive to clients.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and complex documents.
• Proficient with computers and business software.
• Driven to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of survey documents and plans.
• Provide weekly progress and status reports to stakeholders.
• Oversee surveying activities, staff, resources and client communication.
• Prepare and execute quality control reviews and QA procedures.
• Convey our Integrated Business Model in business discussions and market leadership.
• Initiate and participate in business development with new and existing clients.
• Increase client satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
• Monitor project budgets and invoicing; coordinate with accounting for collections.
• Staff development and accountability for numbers.
• Champion brand, values and culture with a positive attitude.
• Other duties as assigned.
