Job summary

Control Point Associates is a leading surveying firm seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our Warren, NJ team. With 30+ years of expertise in land surveying, we specialize in construction stakeouts, boundary surveys, and 3D laser scanning for construction, engineering, and land development.

The role focuses on leading project teams, managing client relationships, and delivering high-quality survey services in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of survey experience.
• Licensed Land Surveyor preferred but not required.
• Proven track record of business development and leadership.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Ability to relate to clients and people at all levels of the organization.
• Excellent communication, diplomacy and listening skills; be accessible and responsive to clients.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret drawings and complex documents.
• Ability to operate a computer with technical software and other applications.
• Proficiency in spreadsheets and other business software.

Responsibilities

• Quality control of survey documents, including plans, plots, and descriptions.
• Provide weekly progress and status reports to project stakeholders.
• Oversee staff, resources, and client communications across multiple projects.
• Prepare and execute quality control reviews and safety procedures.
• Support business development and maintain market leadership in the region.
• Monitor project budgets and assist with invoicing and collections.
