Job summary

Moore Engineering, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Project Manager to lead client relationships and the full project lifecycle from conception to completion. You will oversee scope, schedule and budget while coordinating with Production Leaders and the design team to deliver engineered solutions.

The role requires a PE license or eligibility, 5+ years in civil engineering, and strong communication. Travel for coordination is expected; base pay ranges with incentives may apply.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• PE license or ability to obtain within six months.
• 5+ years civil engineering experience.
• Ability to market and sell engineering services.
• Understanding of engineering contracts.
• Prepare engineering records and write concise reports.
• Supervise and lead project teams to execute projects.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Understand other engineering discipline principles.
• Read/interpret design, regulatory, funding, and admin codes.
• Excellent communication skills and a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversees projects to meet scope, schedule and budget.
• Develops scope of work, schedule and fee with Production Leaders.
• Creates a Project Work Plan for the team.
• Understands client expectations and objectives.
• Participates in qualification/proposal submittals and client presentations.
• Monitors projects using financial project management system.
• Secures funding with state/federal agencies if required.
• Applies engineering expertise to assist design team.
• Guides the project team daily.
• Ensures timely delivery and payment of invoices per AR policies.
• Reviews scope, schedule, fee, profitability and client issues with leadership.
• Ensures adherence to company standards and policies.
• Serves as trusted advisor to clients.
• Collaborates with Business Development to obtain new clients.
• Travels for coordination as required.
