Job summary

Crescent Energy is seeking a Land GIS Principal Analyst in Houston to lead the design, maintenance, and governance of the land GIS database and related workflows. You will integrate leases, rights-of-way, contracts, and regulatory data into reliable GIS products and decision-ready insights, mentoring staff and partnering with Legal, Engineering, and Operations.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s degree or 10+ years GIS experience, 7+ years in upstream O&G GIS, and expertise with ArcGIS

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or 10+ years GIS experience.
7+ years GIS experience in land, lease, title, ROW, parcel, mineral, or energy-related GIS work.
7+ years with upstream O&G operations.
Proficiency with Esri ArcGIS Pro/ArcGIS Online/Enterprise and GIS automation.
Strong data QA/QC, governance, and documentation.

Responsibilities

Lead design, maintenance, and governance of the land GIS database, feature services, maps, and workflows.
Integrate land records, leases, rights-of-way, contracts, ownership, plats, and regulatory data into GIS layers.
Produce executive-ready maps, dashboards, reports, and presentations.
Mentor Land GIS staff and serve as SME for land data and GIS best practices.
Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Development, Operations, and vendors to meet business needs.
