Review and validate GIS work products, including lease polygons, tract boundaries, legal-description interpretations, and map deliverables. Develop automation and repeatable workflows using GIS tools, scripting, and appropriate AI-enabled technologies. Partner with Land and all departments whose workflows depend on land-footprint data, including Legal, Engineering, Development, Operations, and external vendors, to define requirements and deliver clear geospatial solutions. Produce executive-ready maps, dashboards, reports, and presentations. Mentor Land GIS staff and serve as the subject-matter expert for land data and geospatial best practices. Experience with Python, SQL, Arcade, ModelBuilder, FME, or related GIS automation tools. Strong experience interpreting legal descriptions, plats, surveys, parcel or tract data, and land-record documentation, particularly relating to subsurface mineral legal descriptions Experience with data QA and QC, spatial data modeling, and GIS governance. Strong written communication, judgment, organization, and stakeholder-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications GISP certification. Experience with land-management systems, title data, regulatory GIS data, or energy and mineral assets. Experience applying AI tools responsibly to GIS data extraction, document review, workflow automation, or quality assurance.
