Job summary

Penn State Health - Hershey Medical Center in Hershey, PA is seeking a nurse leader for the lactation department. You will provide clinical leadership, drive patient outcomes, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional lactation care.

The role requires a Bachelor's in Nursing, 5 years of maternal-child nursing, an active RN license, and IBCLC certification. Master’s for consideration is preferred. Excellent benefits and a robust Total Rewards program are offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
  • Five (5) years maternal child nursing experience required.
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse by the state of employment or holds a multistate RN license via the Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) required.

SUMMARY OF POSITION:


Responsible for clinical leadership in the lactation department, driving patient outcomes, teamwork and collaboration with other members of the interdisciplinary team.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATION(S):


  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing
  • Five (5) years maternal child nursing experience required
  • Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse by state of employment or holds a multistate RN license through the interstate Nurse Licensure Compact.
  • Certification as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATION(S):


  • Master's degree in a job related field preferred.
