Excellent attention to patient safety and accurate labeling is essential. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and completion of an accredited phlebotomy program, plus at least three years of hospital phlebotomy experience.

Formación

• 3 years of hospital phlebotomy experience required.

Responsabilidades

• Perform venipuncture and specimen collection.
• Process and transport specimens to appropriate departments.
• Assist microbiology with plating cultures and QC checks.
• Assist histology with routine procedures and specimen tracking.
• Answer phones and relay messages; file and distribute reports.
