Job summary

Xcel Energy is seeking a Lead Labor Negotiator to provide strategic direction to operating leadership and interface with union executives. You will lead negotiations for labor agreements, manage grievances and arbitration, and ensure corporate policy compliance across the workforce.

You will guide business-unit leaders, coordinate responses to union activities, and develop cost analyses to support labor agreements.

Qualifications

• 8 years of progressively responsible experience in Labor Relations or Employee Relations.
• Minimum of 5 years working with bargaining unit employees.
• Experience negotiating labor agreements and resolving grievances/arbitrations.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiations for interim and general labor agreements.
• Manage grievance and arbitration resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal labor regulations.
• Provide strategic guidance to leaders on workforce relations.
• Coordinate union organizing drives and Company responses.
• Develop cost analyses for proposed labor agreements.
