Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville Labor & Delivery is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in a 12-bed unit that handles high-volume obstetric patients. You will support daily operations, coordinate patient care, and contribute to a collaborative team focused on safe, high-quality outcomes.

Requirements include completion of an accredited nursing program, a state RN license, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Responsibilities

• Direct patient care and assist the manager with daily operations.
• Coordinate patient care and outcomes.
• Allocate human and fiscal resources.
• Handle communications and patient throughput.
• Contribute to program development and oversight.
• Rounding with patients, physicians, and staff.
• Staff development and retention.
• Clinical supervision and performance appraisal.
• Engage in performance improvement activities and service recovery.
• Maintain clinical and professional competency.
