Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse in the Mother-Baby/L&D unit to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process, ensuring safety and quality in alignment with standards.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassionate communication, and leadership to create a safe environment and positive patient experience across the care continuum.

Qualifications

• Complete an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Hold a RN license issued by the state where you practice.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Minimum 1 year of Mother-Baby and L&D experience.
• NRP recommended within 6 months of hire or per local policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - Recommended within 6 months of hire or per local or site-specific policy of standard of care.
