Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC is seeking a Lead Lab Technician to operate, monitor, and adjust blending equipment to assure product quality. The role involves reviewing records, training new associates, and collaborating with the team to manufacture the highest quality beverages.

The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent (or 3 years of QC experience) plus strong math, computer, and communication skills. Expect active involvement in lab testing, calibration, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, monitor, and adjust blending equipment to ensure product quality.
  • Review daily records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Train new associates and supervise others as needed.
  • Test finished products, packages, water, syrup, and HFCS.
  • Calibrate equipment and perform CIP verification, setup, and performance.
  • Organize storage, housekeeping, and waste management.
  • Maintain lab inventory (Kanban) and manage concentrate controls.
