Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures in Winston-Salem, NC is seeking a Lead Quality Control Technician to oversee lab operations, test products, and ensure adherence to PCNA specifications. You will operate blending equipment, monitor quality on production lines, train new technicians, and collaborate with QC leadership to maintain a high standard of beverage quality.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years in quality control, with strong math, computer, and communication

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent or three (3) years of quality control experience.
• Must have basic math and computer skills.
• Background in chemistry and laboratory environment preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good training and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs micro blend operation.
• Tests finished products, packages, water, syrup, and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Monitors production lines for beverage quality.
• Calibrates equipment.
• Testing and treat water.
• Microbiology collecting, plating, reading and recording.
• Trains new technicians.
• CIP Verification/Setup/Perform.
• Organizes storage, perform housekeeping and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
