Job summary

Pepsi Bottling Ventures LLC seeks a Lead Lab Technician to ensure that all products meet PCNA specifications. You will operate, monitor, and adjust blending equipment, review daily records, train new associates, and work with the QC team to maintain high quality products.

You will perform tests on water, syrup, sugar, finished products and packaging, calibrate equipment, and manage lab inventory while supporting CI/QA procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent or three years of quality control experience.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Background in chemistry and laboratory environment preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Good organizational skills.
• Must be able to think analytically.
• Good hand eye coordination.
• Self-motivated with strong initiative.
• Must be able to learn and follow established procedures without deviation.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have good training and leadership skills.
• Must be able to work hours necessary to complete assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs micro blend operation.
• Tests finished products, packages, water, syrup, and high-fructose corn syrup.
• Monitors production lines for beverage quality.
• Calibrates equipment.
• Testing and treating water Microbiology collecting, plating, reading and recording
• Receives concentrate
• Controls lab inventory (Kanban)
• Trains new technicians
• CIP Verification/Setup/Perform
• Organizes storage, perform housekeeping and trash removal
• Other duties as assigned.
