U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Nutrition and Food Service at a VA Medical Center.

The role plans, produces, directs, coordinates, and monitors all phases of food production and day-to-day operations in the absence of the Food Service Section Supervisor. The incumbent will oversee budgeting, labor, and resources; participate in planning meetings; and provide technical direction and training for staff working with complex processes.

Formación

• Experience demonstrating ability to supervise food production services.
• Knowledge of HACCP guidelines and sanitation standards.
• Ability to plan, direct, and monitor all phases of food production.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate operation of food service/production areas using established standards.
• Develop weekly/monthly production plans with deadlines and priorities.
• Supervise labor, subsistence, and materials within budgetary limits.
• Provide training and direction for staff in scheduling and complex processes.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with policies and HACCP guidelines.
• Plan leave schedules and establish performance standards for subordinates.
