Job summary

Laredocc is seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our team and act as the second-in-command in the kitchen. You will supervise staff, ensure quality and safety, and assist the Executive Chef with menu planning and inventory management.

The ideal candidate has leadership experience, a passion for food, and a track record of maintaining high standards in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Food Handler safety certification.
• Experience as Sous Chef or similar in a professional kitchen.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Executive Chef in planning and directing food preparation and service.
• Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth kitchen operations during service.
• Ensure dishes are prepared and presented according to restaurant standards.
• Monitor food stock levels and assist in ordering supplies.
• Enforce health and safety standards in the kitchen.
