Job summary

Creative Dining Services is seeking a Production Manager at Kirtland Community College in Grayling, MI to oversee kitchen operations, ensure high-quality, properly seasoned, nutritious menus, and manage costs. You will lead the dining services team and collaborate with the Executive Chef.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of food service experience, a Bachelor's degree preferred, and management experience. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years food service experience.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Trains and manages all kitchen staff.
• Participates in hiring, scheduling, timekeeping, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions of the kitchen staff.
• Supervises and coordinates culinary activities in all operations; assists the Executive Chef as needed.
• Selects appropriate vendors.
• Maintain good public relations with customers, clients, staff, vendors, and the community; achieves high levels of customer and client satisfaction.
• Conducts continuing analysis of production, recommending operational changes.
