Job summary

GMRE is seeking a KC-130H/T Pilot to plan, execute, and document Functional Check Flights and related missions in support of Fleet Readiness Center East at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The role requires frequent travel and thorough coordination with government and maintenance teams.

Qualified candidates will have KC-130H/T flight hours, instructor training, and active security clearance; duties include training, mission planning, and safety oversight in a dynamic depot environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a KC-130H/T pilot with required flight-hour prerequisites.
• Complete instructor training and evaluation per standards.
• Maintain medical and flight qualifications and be designated as Instructor Pilot.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and document Functional Check Flights (FCFs), Acceptance Flights, and Ferry Flights.
• Provide flight instruction across systems, procedures, and mission planning.
• Conduct preflight briefings, post-flight critiques, and progress reviews.
• Develop lesson plans, scenarios, and aircrew training requirements.
• Coordinate with government personnel, maintenance, and aircrew for safe flight ops.
• Maintain high standards of flight safety and regulatory compliance.
