Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) is seeking an experienced KC-130H/T pilot instructor to plan, execute, and document Functional Check Flights and training at Fleet Readiness Center East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The role requires coordinating with government personnel and maintenance teams to ensure safe, compliant flight operations.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified KC-130H/T T2P co-pilot with instructor training and evaluation.
• At least 225 hours of total military flight time (preferred).
• Must have an active U.S. SECRET clearance and be eligible for access to the work location.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flight safety and instructional quality while developing qualified pilots and Aircraft Commanders.
• Conduct flight training for various mission types and document performance.
• Provide instruction on systems, procedures, performance, and risk management.
• Lead preflight briefings, post-flight critiques, and formal debriefings.
• Document trainee progress and plan ongoing training or advancement.
