Job summary

Gauss Management Research & Engineering (GMRE Inc.) seeks a KC-130H/T pilot to support depot maintenance operations at MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The role involves planning, executing, and documenting Functional Check Flights and related missions with frequent travel and adherence to regulatory guidance.

The candidate will train and supervise pilots, coordinate with government personnel and maintenance teams, and maintain readiness for home-station operations as required.

Qualifications

• Must be a fully qualified KC-130H/T pilot with required flight-hour prerequisites.
• Minimum 700 total military flight hours preferred.
• Must hold active FAA medical and flight qualifications and instructor designation.

Responsibilities

• Ensure flight safety and training quality for pilots and Aircraft Commanders.
• Conduct various training and qualifications for KC-130H/T pilots.
• Instruct on aircraft systems, procedures, and mission planning.
• Lead preflight briefings, debriefings, and training reviews.
• Document trainee performance and recommend progression.
• Develop lesson plans and training materials.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedures and directives.
