Job summary

GMRE is seeking a highly skilled KC-130H/T Pilot instructor to plan, execute, and document Functional Check Flights, training, and ferry operations in support of depot maintenance at Fleet Readiness Center East, MCAS Cherry Point, NC. The permanent duty location is TBD and travel is frequent.

Incumbents will train pilots, manage safety, and coordinate with government personnel and maintenance teams to ensure readiness and regulatory compliance, with a focus on mission effectiveness and

Qualifications

• Must be fully qualified KC-130H/T T2P co-pilot and instructor-designated.
• At least 225 hours of total military flight time.
• Active U.S. SECRET clearance required.

Responsibilities

• Lead flight safety, pilot training, and development of pilots and Aircraft Commanders.
• Conduct initial, transition, requalification, continuation, upgrade, and remedial training.
• Instruct on systems, procedures, and mission planning.
• Conduct flight instruction across takeoff, en route, aerial refueling, and approaches.
• Demonstrate procedures and provide corrective instruction to ensure safety.
• Document trainee performance and determine progression.
• Develop lesson plans, scenarios, and training records.
• Participate in standardization conferences and training program assessments.
• Maintain knowledge of aircraft systems and governing directives.
