Job summary

The Northern California Golf Association seeks a Manager of Junior Golf to oversee administrative and operational support for Junior programs, tournament administration, player points, and related USNDP activities.

Reporting to the Director of Junior Golf, you will work with staff to ensure timely tournament information, member inquiries handling, and overall program delivery; travel with overnight stays will be required.

Qualifications

• GED and/or 2-3 years of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of golf tournament formats and the rules of golf.
• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work well in a team-oriented work environment as well as work well individually with general supervision.
• Strong communication skills, both orally and in writing.
• Must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license and provide proof of insurance; travel with overnight stays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration of New Pathway Tour Junior events and NCGA Juniors events.
• Assist JTNC Championship Tour, Pathway Tour, and NCGA Juniors points programs; maintain standings.
• Support USNDP Team NorCal Program with special projects.
• Collaborate on Junior Strategic Plan and coordination with NCGA Foundation.
• Manage the Junior Tour Points Program and year-end awards.
