Job summary

The Olympic Club in San Francisco is seeking a Junior Tennis Coordinator to lead the club’s junior tennis program and support the Tennis Director with events, coaching, and member engagement.

This full-time role requires teaching multiple hours daily, overseeing junior teams and tournaments, and coordinating with club departments to ensure a high-quality experience for members and guests.

Qualifications

• Division one playing experience and active at 5.0+ level.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Must be USPTA, PTR, ITF Certified, or working to achieve this within 6 months.
• Previous coaching experience with all levels and abilities of adult tennis players.
• Ability to teach multiple hours of lessons/clinics daily.
• Dynamic and present member of the club’s tennis staff.
• Fluent English communication and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Co-manages the tennis department in the Director’s absence.
• Promotes all tennis and club events.
• Devise and implement the Junior Tennis Program with the Director.
• Help manage and coordinate junior tennis teams and tournaments.
• Operate relevant systems (POS, reservations, payroll, inventory).
• Teach lessons/clinics and sometimes play with members and guests.
• Coordinate catering for junior events with Food & Beverage.
