Job summary

Capstone Mechanical, LP. is seeking an experienced plumber/foreman to lead field crews on plumbing installations, water supply, waste and drainage systems. You will read blueprints, coordinate with GC’s, and supervise on-site tasks ensuring safety, quality, and compliance.

Two years of trade school and a minimum of five years of field experience are required, with a valid Texas driver’s license and journeyman/master license. On-site role with strong teamwork and documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Two years of trade school or an equivalent combination of technical training and related experience.
• Required to hold a journeyman’s or Master’s license.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience required.
• Basic math and computer skills, mechanically inclined; working knowledge of regulations, and use of tools such as saws, torches, benders, welders, forklifts, and man-lifts.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste and drainage systems.
• Cooperates with other trades to meet specifications, legislation, and policies for efficient project completion.
• Plans ahead two weeks and orders materials accordingly.
• Connects tubing and fittings using solder paste, or solder and torch to form water lines.
• Directs workers in preassembly and installation of wall systems.
• Informs Field Supervisor of changes or emergencies within the department.
• Attends weekly jobsite meetings with general contractors and coordinators.
• Keeps worksite clean and maintains records of installations and repairs.
• Represents Capstone Mechanical’s values in marketplace.
