Job summary

Capstone Mechanical in Texas is seeking a seasoned plumber to read blueprints, coordinate with trades, and install water, drainage, and waste systems on commercial projects. You will plan ahead, order materials, and ensure compliance with building codes and safety standards.

You will lead on-site crews, perform preassembly, maintain records, attend weekly meetings with GC's, and uphold Capstone's values. A valid Texas driver’s license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent and trade training or related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematics.
• Capstone Mechanical requires safety awareness and physical capability.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work with others and meet codes.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints and specifications to plan plumbing layouts.
• Coordinates with trades to meet project specs and safety.
• Plans ahead and orders materials two weeks in advance.
• Operates tubing and fittings with solder paste, or torch.
• Directs preassembly and installation of wall systems.
• Maintains records and completes required paperwork.
• Attends weekly jobsite meetings with GC's and site supervisor.
• Represents Capstone Mechanical's mission and values.
