The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of trade training or experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to use hand and power tools. You must meet safety standards and attend weekly site meetings.

Qualifications

• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specs to lay out plumbing systems.
• Plans ahead two weeks and orders materials accordingly.
• Ensures water networks and drainage meet codes and safety standards.
• Verifies subordinate timecards for accuracy and attends site meetings.
• Maintains records for installations and repairs to comply with government requirements.

Responsibilities

• Reads blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks and waste/drainage systems.
• Directs workers engaged in preassembly and installation of wall systems, such as risers and shower assemblies.
• Connects tubing and fittings using solder paste or solder and torches to form water lines.
• Attends weekly jobsite meetings with general contractors and coordinates with site supervisor.
