Job summary

CVR Energy, Inc. is seeking a skilled electrician/maintenance technician to troubleshoot and maintain electrical and automation systems in our refinery maintenance department. The role involves installing, testing and commissioning new electrical equipment, and may include supervising other craftsmen.

Emphasis on safety, reliability, and self-motivation through training. Required are a high school diploma, fluent English, and at least 5 years in an industrial maintenance setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Ability to troubleshoot and work independently using manuals.
• Ability to adjust schedule to meet business demands.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain electrical and automation systems in refinery maintenance.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical installations and equipment.
• Supervise and train other craftsmen as needed.
• Ensure safety and support reliability of the facility.
• Read and interpret loop drawings, P&IDs, and wiring schematics.
• Use test equipment (multimeters, megger, battery testers) to diagnose issues.
