Job summary

GFL Environmental Services is seeking an experienced Industrial Electrician to maintain electrical distribution, MCCs, and instrumentation in a refinery setting.

Join team green and contribute to safe, reliable operations while advancing your skills in VFDs, transmitters, and process controls. The role requires 3–7 years of industrial electrical experience and journeyman licensure.

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level training/licensure as applicable.
• 3–7 years industrial electrical experience.
• Prior refinery, chemical, terminal, or continuous-process manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA 29 CFR 1910 and PSM (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Configure, commission, and troubleshoot instruments (pressure/level transmitters, flow meters).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and controls (MCCs, motors).
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Support installations and upgrades including VFDs and instrumentation interfaces.
• Document work and ensure compliance with safe electrical practices.
• Adhere to OSHA 29 CFR 1910, PSM, MOC, and environmental programs.
