Job summary

You will troubleshoot low- and medium-voltage electrical systems, read diagrams, support lockout/tagout, and document work in the CMMS while coordinating with operations and engineering to maximize uptime.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Texas Journeyman Electrical/Wireman License.
• Knowledge of motor/starter circuitry.
• Ability to read and understand wiring diagrams.
• Valid driver’s license.
• TWIC card required at time of hire.
• NFPA 70E/Arc-Flash knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair low and medium-voltage electrical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical distribution systems, motor control centers, and switchgear equipment.
• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, and replace industrial lighting systems and components.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify and resolve electrical issues.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and technical docs.
• Support Lockout/Tagout activities for safe isolation of energized equipment.
• Complete accurate work orders and maintenance records in CMMS.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering to support plant operations.
