Job summary

GFL Environmental Services seeks an experienced electrical maintenance professional to keep refinery electrical systems reliable and safe. You will configure, commission, and troubleshoot instrumentation and MCCs while maintaining strict adherence to electrical safety and regulatory requirements.

In this full-time on-site role in an industrial refinery environment, you will support upgrades, document work, and collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to maximize uptime and safety, with

Qualifications

• Journeyman-level training/licensure as applicable.
• 3–7 years industrial electrical experience.
• Experience in refinery, chemical, terminal or continuous-process manufacturing.
• Education / Licensing as required.

Responsibilities

• Configure, commission, and troubleshoot instruments (pressure/level transmitters, flow meters, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance and inspections.
• Support installations and upgrades including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and instrumentation interfaces.
• Document work and ensure compliance with safe electrical practices.
• Adhere to OSHA 29 CFR 1910 standards, PSM (29 CFR 1910.119), MOC, and environmental programs.
