Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical, Auburn, Alabama, seeks a full-time Journeyman Electrician to supervise and coordinate commercial electrical work on overlapping project sites.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, a current state Journeyman license, OSHA 10, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks; travel may be required. This is an on-site position with competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Pass pre-employment background and MVR checks when operating vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion and documentation of project safety activities as directed.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
