Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Auburn, AL seeks a full-time Journeyman Electrician to supervise commercial electrical crews, interpret blueprints, and ensure project safety and quality.

The role requires 5+ years of field experience, a current Journeyman license, OSHA 10 or ability to obtain, and successful background/MVR checks; travel may be required. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• Current state Electrical Journeyman license.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision
• Confirms completion & documentation of project safety activities as directed
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications
• Analyzes and resolves work problems
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor
• Works from all types of ladders
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures
• Travel may be required.
