Goodwill in Tacoma, Washington seeks a Lead Job Coach to support and supervise disability services programs, carry a caseload, provide on-the-job training, and coordinate with the program manager, employers, families, and community partners to help participants achieve meaningful, competitive employment.

The role requires leadership experience, knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, data management skills, and a commitment to inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year of leadership or supervisory experience.
• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities, employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or workforce development.
• Knowledge of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, School to Work and Developmental Disability Administration.
• Experience using database or case management software and ensuring compliance with documentation requirements.
• Analytical, judgment, decision-making and communication skills.
• Strong coaching, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Employment contingent on background checks (State of Washington).

Responsabilités

• Provide functional leadership and day-to-day operational guidance to team members.
• Mentor a team of job coaches to meet data and contract requirements.
• Coordinate with program manager and partners on program needs.
• Support School to Work program and participant training.
• Assist individuals in obtaining and maintaining competitive integrated employment.
• Conduct vocational discovery, assessments and career exploration.
• Develop individualized employment plans with participants.
• Document participant progress and maintain records.
• Communicate with employers, families, and referral sources.
• Promote best practices in supported employment.
