Job summary

Qualifications

• Practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
• Hands-on full stack software engineering with production applications;
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, JPA, and SQL with ability to learn others.
• Experience with React and front-end technologies.
• Experience using enterprise AI development tools and validating AI outputs.
• Understanding of incorporating AI into engineering workflows with security and resiliency.
• Experience leading uses of approved AI tools and setting team expectations.
• Strong cloud development knowledge and large corporate coding experience.
• Knowledge of SDLC, agile practices, CI/CD, resiliency, and security.
• Preferred Python for model development and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Preferred Docker/Kubernetes and microservices performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and troubleshoot software solutions with sound judgment.
• Create secure, high-quality production code and maintenance of algorithms.
• Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications.
• Use AI coding tools to improve quality and speed, with peer review and secure coding.
• Apply SDLC tools including enterprise AI automation to enhance automation value.
• Analyze large data sets to support continuous application/system improvements.
• Identify hidden data patterns to improve coding hygiene and architecture.
• Contribute to engineering communities of practice on emerging tech.
• Work independently on modules with minimal support.
