Job summary

You will lead design, code reviews, and adoption of AI-assisted practices while ensuring compliance and high-quality delivery in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience leading designing and building solutions.
• Expertise in Java, Spring Core, Spring Boot, REST APIs, JPA and relevant microservices framework.
• Expert-level experience with AI-assisted/agentic development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot and Claude Code) to accelerate full-stack delivery while enforcing secure usage.
• Strong understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, data sensitivity and SDLC compliance.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions, design, development, and debugging with ability to tackle complex problems.
• Develops secure high-quality production code and reviews code written by others.
• Drives team adoption of AI-assisted engineering practices to improve code quality, speed, and operations.
• Applies knowledge of SDLC tools, including AI-assisted development and automation to improve value.
• Identifies opportunities to automate remediation and improve stability of software applications.
• Leads evaluation sessions with external vendors and internal teams on architecture and integration.
• Leads communities of practice across Software Engineering for new technologies.
• Promotes diversity, inclusion and respectful team culture.
