JPMorganChase is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Trust and Security group in Plano, TX. You will be a core technical contributor, delivering trusted, scalable technology across multiple domains and collaborating with agile teams to meet business objectives.

You will design and implement secure production code, drive automation, and lead architectural discussions with vendors and internal partners, while advancing a culture of inclusion and engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on experience delivering system design and production code.
• Strong proficiency in Java (11/17+) and Spring Boot.
• Experience with automation, CI/CD, and software delivery pipelines.
• Advanced understanding of agile methodologies and security practices.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures and distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Executes creative software solutions and design, going beyond routine approaches.
• Develops secure, high-quality production code and reviews others’ code.
• Improves stability by automating remediation of recurring issues.
• Leads evaluation sessions with vendors and internal teams on architecture and applicability.
