Job summary

Kellermeyer Bergensons Services (KBS) is looking for a Janitorial Crew Lead to supervise on-site cleaning and coordinate the crew to meet client standards. The role emphasizes leadership, safety, and high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $20.00 per hour with early morning shifts and bilingual English/Spanish preferred. The position includes training responsibilities, collaboration with supervisors, and a focus on ensuring crew success and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial operations and distribution center environment strongly preferred.
• 1-3 years in a Lead/Supervisory role.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and procedures (English; Spanish where required).
• Ability to follow OSHA requirements and forklift instructions.
• Customer service oriented with ability to motivate team and respond to client requests.

Responsibilities

• The Crew Lead performs site Crew tasks and ensures tasks are fully executed at site.
• Interact with the client to provide professional and prompt customer service as needed.
• Provide direction and task coordination for assigned Crew.
• Ensure Crew members understand their responsibilities under each policy.
• Collaborate with Crew to ensure coordination and successful execution of daily operations and resolve deficiencies promptly.
• Assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with new hires and training.
• Ensure team members have information and tools to do their jobs; provide clarity and support.
• May assist Supervisor or Zone Manager with interviews and training.
• Motivate the crew; lead by example and provide regular support to crew members.
