Job summary

GDI, Inc. seeks a on-site Janitorial Supervisor to lead and train the cleaning crew, ensuring safety and meeting the customer’s quality standards. The role involves daily cleaning tasks and collaborating with the team to maintain high cleanliness levels in the facility.

The position supports shifting from Monday to Friday 7:30 AM–3:30 PM, with occasional weekend work as needed. Candidates should demonstrate reliability and a can-do attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Summary

Lead, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer's quality expectations are met or exceeded. You will also be responsible for participating in daily cleaning tasks.

Working Schedule

Monday - Friday @ 7:30AM- 3:30PM (Occasional Sat. & Sun.)

Responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Lead and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, dusting and trash removal.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

Requirements

• Must have experience with Leading a Janitorial team and cleaning commercial buildings.
• Must undergo a background and basic drug screening
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Steel toed shoes required when applicable
• Ability to work in hot conditions
