Job summary

GDI Integrated Facility Services is seeking a on-site Lead Janitorial Supervisor to guide and train the cleaning team, ensuring safety and customer quality expectations are met. The role involves overseeing daily cleaning tasks and coordinating with supervisors on shift assignments.

The candidate will lead a crew, perform standard cleaning duties, and ensure compliance with safety practices across all areas during both 2nd and 3rd shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a janitorial team in commercial buildings.
• Background and drug screening required.
• Ability to work with other crew members and listen to supervisor instructions.
• Reliable transportation is required.
• Steel-toed shoes are required when applicable.
• Ability to work in hot conditions.

Summary

Lead, train, and direct the janitorial staff on site to ensure that all employees are kept safe and the customer’s quality expectations are met or exceeded. You will also be responsible for participating in daily cleaning tasks.

Working Schedule

Monday - Friday @ 3:00PM - 11:30PM (2nd Shift)
Monday - Friday @ 10:00PM - 6:30AM (3rd Shift)

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Lead and train the work of the janitorial staff in the building.
• Cleaning restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, dusting and trash removal.
• Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming.

Requirements

• Must have experience with Leading a Janitorial team and cleaning commercial buildings.
• Must undergo a background and basic drug screening
• Must have the ability to work with other crew members
• Must be able to listen to customer requests and follow supervisor instructions
• Must have reliable transportation
• Steel toed shoes required when applicable
• Ability to work in hot conditions
