Job summary

Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base seeks a Supervisory Information Technology Specialist to lead a Systems Administration team and oversee IA program execution. The role drives DT&E/OT&E IT infrastructure, real-time monitoring, and reliable networks supporting DTTR operations.

The position requires a Top-Secret clearance, DAWIA certification, and ability to manage classified information. Expect travel up to 25% and a competitive federal salary band.

Qualifications

• Top-Secret clearance and SAP access required.
• DAWIA certification.
• Drug Testing Position designation.
• Education requirements per OPM qualifications/IOR.
• Ability to program in multiple languages and integrate models.
• Knowledge across multiple test disciplines including software, avionics, cyber, EW, and C2.

Responsibilities

• Lead Systems Development & Integration for DTTR-E modeling & simulation.
• Supervise personnel for at least 25% of time.
• Report on simulator readiness across flight science, performance, EM/avionics, and C2 domains.
• Document simulator development and operation with detailed procedures and test results.
• Process classified information; apply safety reviews to mitigate risks.
• Develop and report performance goals; ensure timely resolution of deficiencies.
