The Air Force Test Center is looking for a Full-Time Position Supervisory Information Technology Specialist (NH-2210-03) to work at the 412 Test Wing, 412 Electronics Warfare Group, 445 Test Squadron (445TS/EWJI) at Edwards Air Force Base.
To serve as a first-level supervisor, managing the Systems Administration team by applying technical expertise to execute the organization's information assurance (IA) program and maintain authority to operate (ATO). Design, implement and sustain IT infrastructure that supports developmental and operational test and evaluation (DT&E and OT&E) programs. Provide real-time monitoring capabilities and ensure reliable networks, servers and application services that enable Digital Test and Training Range (DTTR) operations.

Major Duties:
- Serve as 412 EWG/445 TS/EWJI Systems Development & Integration Lead for DTTR-E modeling & simulation systems.
- Exercise supervisory personnel management responsibilities at least 25% of the time.
- Report on virtual simulator operational readiness in the areas of flight science, performance, mission systems, avionics, and flight control systems.
- Prepare technical documentation of simulator development and operation which describe, in detail, mechanization techniques, new or unique software algorithms, operations procedures, configuration control; presents test results; draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Perform technical work using classified information in various media and formats. Apply technical and safety review processes to mitigate risks and to ensure technical adequacy.
- Develop, prioritize and report on organization performance goals and objectives. Implement an effective reporting system such that there is timely & adequate resolution of system related deficiencies.
Qualifications/Requirements:

- Ability to program in multiple computer languages and protocols; integrate/manipulate models; and design, implement, and troubleshoot distributed computer networks supporting virtual and constructive simulation of air vehicle navigation, flight controls, communications, sensor operations, command & control, and target engagement.
- Knowledge of concepts, principles, and techniques across multiple interrelated technical and test disciplines to include one or more of the following: object-oriented software design principles, integrated development environments, software deficiency troubleshooting, high-performance aircraft flight sciences, avionics, armament, electronic warfare systems, command & control systems, cyber, space & information operations capabilities, datalinks, and related subsystems.
- General knowledge of one or more of the following platform types: combat air vehicles, RF/IR sensors, and weapons; experience working in some or all of following Test & Evaluation disciplines: flight test conduct, coordination and supervision, data collection, reduction, storage, analysis & evaluation procedures, application of flight test truth sources, use of modeling and simulation systems and techniques, generation of technical reports, and administrative aspects of flight test programs.
