Terrestris seeks an IT Field Support Lead to support the IRS CI CMSS contract at IRS Headquarters in Washington, DC. This role oversees onsite endpoint-management and provides hands-on IT support for executives and staff.

The candidate will perform desktop troubleshooting, deployments, migrations, and incident resolution, maintain knowledge articles, and help implement modern support tools such as chatbots and AI, while coordinating with government tiered support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience supporting enterprise desktop/endpoint operations.
• 2+ years in a team-lead or supervisory role.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows environments and enterprise troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee onsite endpoint-management and user-support operations for Field Office/HQ.
• Provide daily hands-on IT support at IRS Headquarters, including HQ executives.
• Troubleshoot desktop/endpoint issues; deployments, migrations, outages, incidents.
• Provide direct help-desk support; answer calls, open/escalate tickets, meet SLA.
