Job summary

Ladders seeks a Lead IT Architect to guide enterprise architecture in a complex technology environment within Pharma & Biotech. You will translate strategy into practical guidance, partnering with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and Agile delivery teams to define roadmaps and reduce delivery risk.

Location: Remote - US-based candidates only; compensation: $150,800 - $251,300 annually. You will lead scalable, secure enterprise solutions and governance across multiple applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT or related field.
• 10+ years in software engineering, solution/enterprise architecture, with 5+ years in a lead architect role.
• Proven track record owning architecture across multiple applications/teams.
• Experience in Agile, Scrum or SAFe environments for roadmaps.
• Expertise designing enterprise solutions on Microsoft Azure or comparable clouds.
• Familiarity with architecture governance, docs and diagrams.
• Experience with AI-assisted software engineering.

For our client, we are seeking a Lead IT Architect to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This role will shape the enterprise architecture direction for a complex technology environment, with a strong focus on enabling scalable, secure, and well-governed solutions. You will partner closely with Product Management, Engineering Leadership, and Agile delivery teams to define architectural roadmaps, reduce delivery risk, and support execution across multiple applications. The position is well suited for an experienced architect who can translate strategy into practical guidance and help teams deliver with consistency and technical excellence.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $150,800 - $251,300 annually
