Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural or Civil Engineering.
• Masters degree preferred for advanced leadership roles.
• Minimum 8 years in agricultural engineering with irrigation focus.
• Proven project management experience including budgets and team leadership.
• Strong knowledge of fluid mechanics, hydraulics and water resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and optimization of large-scale irrigation projects.
• Perform site assessments, feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses.
• Oversee procurement and installation of irrigation equipment.
• Develop and manage project budgets and resources.
• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and water policies.
• Provide guidance on hydraulic modeling, pump selection and networks.
• Collaborate with agronomists, farmers and stakeholders.
• Implement monitoring systems for water usage and performance.
