Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in Plano, TX, to drive mobile app development for iOS and Android. You will work within an agile team to deliver secure, scalable products and guide the adoption of enterprise AI-assisted development tools.

You will review production code, influence product design, and collaborate with UX designers to enhance user experiences while maintaining strict security and reliability standards.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering and 5+ years of applied experience.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted software development tools and evaluating AI outputs for correctness, performance and security.
• Strong knowledge of mobile development frameworks (iOS, Swift, Objective-C, UIKit, Cocoa, SwiftUI).

Responsibilities

• Develop secure, high-quality production code; review and debug code written by others.
• Make decisions impacting product design, application functionality, and technical operations.
• Advise peers and stakeholders on adoption of new technologies.
• Leverages AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review and testing.
• Develop mobile apps for iOS using Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C; for Android using Java and Kotlin.
• Collaborate with UX designers to prototype and implement new features.
• Optimize apps for speed, reliability, and scalability; follow Scrum and Continuous Delivery.
• Support SRE practices to ensure user experience and performance.
