Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking an experienced iOS Software Engineer Lead to join the Consumer & Community Banking team. You will design and deliver secure, scalable iOS solutions, mentoring engineers and collaborating with product owners to translate requirements into robust code and documentation.

The role emphasizes AI-assisted development, accessibility and localization validation, and CI/CD integration, with opportunities to influence architecture and enterprise-grade quality across global teams.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in Software Engineering and 5+ years applied experience.
• Solid coding ability in Swift and/or Objective-C with a strong desire to grow and improve.
• Hands-on AI-assisted software development tool experience with evaluation of outputs for correctness, performance, and security.
• Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity considerations, secure handling of inputs/outputs, and adherence to resiliency and security expectations.
• Foundational understanding of software design principles for scalable, maintainable platform solutions.
• Exposure to XCUITest and Apple's native iOS testing frameworks.
• Hands-on iOS development including debugging using simulators and devices in Xcode.
• Openness to learning BDD and Cucumber/Gherkin frameworks.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to break down complex problems and think through solutions clearly.
• Collaborative by nature with the ability to work independently while knowing when to ask for help.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment across a global team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of iOS platform infrastructure and reusable frameworks.
• Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality, delivery speed, and productivity with peer review.
• Apply knowledge of the SDLC toolchain including AI-assisted development and automation to improve value.
• Write clean, production-quality Swift/Objective-C code in Xcode.
• Translate requirements into executable specifications and well-structured technical documentation.
• Build iOS platform capabilities for accessibility validation and internationalization checks.
• Develop infrastructure for validating AI-powered features including ML model outputs and personalization engines.
• Work with API mocking infrastructure (WireMock) to support development without backend dependencies.
• Partner with scrum teams to guide use of iOS infrastructure and provide technical leadership.
• Collaborate with iOS teams to monitor and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration including PR validation and cloud device execution.
