Job summary

Pairs is hiring a business development leader to take over the investor relations team of six associates, reporting to the co-founders. You will coach, coach, and coach, ensuring each associate has clear expectations, weekly feedback, and measurable progress, while growing the investor network with timely introductions.

The role emphasizes high-ticket sales, strategic relationship-building, and a long-term view on investor relationships. This is a fully remote opportunity with global scope.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a five-person or larger sales/investment team for at least two years.
• Proven ability to coach and manage performance weekly.
• Track record in high-ticket sales or capital raising.
• Strong CRM discipline and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Run the weekly rhythm: pipeline, CRM, wins/losses, KPIs, 1:1s with each associate.
• Coach every associate on calls and introductions.
• Hire, onboard and, when needed, terminate staff against written standards.
• Own health of the investor network: more active members, fit introductions at pace.
• Coordinate with client success to align client plans with team work.
• Identify and remove the main constraint with process or engineering support.
• Present weekly numbers: investor calls, active members, introductions, and changes.
