The role supports the Director of Investigative Services and Attorneys-in-Charge, focusing on training, supervision, and process improvement for investigators, interns, and defense staff. Ideal candidates bring strong criminal defense investigative experience, leadership, and mentoring ability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher and 3+ years of criminal defense investigative work, or 7 years post-secondary education plus investigative experience.
• Ability to set SOPs, best practices, and processes to improve client service and staff development.
• Experience in training on investigative services, including mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Support Director of Investigative Staff in recruiting, onboarding and training new staff and interns.
• Develop training curriculums and materials for investigative staff and attorneys.
• Staff trial offices and specialized units with investigative services for the defense team.
• Collaborate with leadership to troubleshoot issues in investigative cases and personnel.
• Monitor caseloads and resources; align with client, attorney and office needs.
