Job summary

Dallas ISD is seeking an Investigator II to lead investigative teams, provide strategic direction, and ensure timely, thorough reports compliant with policies and Title IX requirements.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of investigative experience, strong knowledge of federal/state laws, and proficiency in MS Office. Master’s or certifications (ATIXA, CFE) are preferred. You will train staff, coordinate with counsel, and maintain meticulous case files.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university required.
• Master's Degree from an accredited university preferred.
• License or certification such as ATIXA or CFE preferred.
• 5+ years of administrative investigative experience, Title IX/EEO preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Access.

Responsibilities

• Assist and supervise investigators with strategic direction and oversight.
• Develop and deliver team training to streamline best practices.
• Oversee complex employee-misconduct investigations and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Prepare investigative plans, identify witnesses, retrieve records, and review evidence.
• Maintain thorough investigative files and ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate with internal and external counsel and participate as a witness in hearings.
