Job summary

Dallas Independent School District seeks a senior investigator to lead complex employee misconduct investigations, including Title IX cases. You will design investigation plans, manage witnesses, review records, and produce comprehensive reports for district leadership.

You will supervise investigators, provide ongoing training, and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and legal requirements across departments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university required.
• Master’s degree in a related field or Juris Doctorate preferred.
• Licenses or certifications such as ATIXA or CFE preferred.
• 5+ years of administrative investigative experience, preferably Title IX/EEO.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws related to investigations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee employee misconduct investigations including Title VII/Title IX.
• Plan, direct, and review investigations and reports for compliance.
• Coordinate with district departments, legal, and outside counsel.
• Maintain thorough, organized investigation files and evidence.
• Provide training, coaching, and guidance to investigators and staff.
